You don’t have to be very old to remember the popularity of classic mixtapes. I still have a few in a closet somewhere, and I’ll have to see if I can find them so that I can relive the memories. Audiocassettes may not be the hot thing anymore, but mixtapes are still around in the form of CDs and online music collections. In fact, sharing a personal collection of music is more popular now than ever before. It’s so easy to do this online, and Mixwit proves this point.

Mixwit is integrated with a couple of music services that will help you to find songs that you can use with your digital mixtape. Adding them to your collection is a cinch, and even though this is an online service, I love the fact that the interface resembles an audiocassette. You can also upload a picture and customize the look of your mixtape, and in the end, these mixtapes are as fun to look at as they are to listen to. When your collection is complete, post it and share it with your friends on the services that you use in order to get their feedback.
